High 5 Games Gets Ontario License

The race is on … with just weeks to go until Ontario’s new regulated iGaming market opens up, operators and game suppliers are announcing their licensing credentials every week!

This time it’s the turn of slot developer, High 5 Games. They follow Play n Go who published details of their own successful license application earlier in the week.

High 5 have been approved to establish partnerships and supply games to any operator with an iGaming Ontario license.

High 5 is a US-based casino game developer that creates products for both online and offline casinos. They are independent, following their own agenda and expanding into more than 50 countries since their launch in 1995. They have more than 500 games in their catalogue, including online slots like Secrets of the Forest 2, Canadian Wild and Outback Walkabout.

To partner up with some of the biggest worldwide online casino brands, High 5 have been issued licenses in the UK, Malta, Gibraltar, Sweden, Italy, New Jersey, Michigan and West Virginia and you can find their games in big US online casinos like Caesars and Golden Nugget.

Canadian lottery players may already be familiar with the High 5 game suite as the developer has been providing casino games for Loto-Quebec since February. The games are also available at land-based casinos in Ontario and across other provinces.

Tony Singer, CEO of High 5 Games, summed up feeling in the company through their press release, saying: “Big things are happening in Ontario, and we couldn’t be more excited to be a major part of the newly regulated iGaming market. For several decades, players in Ontario have been enjoying our games at land-based casinos across the province. We can’t wait to bring those games online and entertain players in a whole new environment.”

Ontario casino players can look forward to testing their luck on the full range of games from High 5 as well as new releases that are pushed out monthly.

THE GROWING LIST OF LICENSEES IN ONTARIO

The news that High 5 have been successful in their license application means that they join a growing list of operators and suppliers including 888 Holdings Ltd, BetRivers, Leo Vegas, World Series of Poker, PointsBet, Rivalry, TheScore, Bragg Gaming Group, Fans Unite and Play n Go.

It is expected that a few more will be added to this list by the day of launch – 4th April 2022. The grapevine would have us believe that in total more than 50 online casinos will be live, licensed and operational by the end of the year. If you are reading this from Ontario, there is a lot to look forward to in 2022!
