If you are averse to long registration forms, then you’ll enjoy the Casumo process which is really easy to follow. It’s divided into 3 sections:

• your log in information (email, password, phone number, username),
• your personal details (full name, date of birth, postcode, address),
• terms and conditions check.

Adding one item of information at a time makes the sign-up seem cleaner and easier to us. This image shows how it looks on screen and it compares well to the long registration forms you see at some of the older casino sites in the industry. ACCOUNT VERIFICATION AT CASUMO

To complete the process you will need to provide account verification with two forms of ID to verify your identity and your address.

A word of warning here!

We found this process to be particularly irksome. The support team were extremely picky about the type of documents required to verify your account. Keep in mind that not only must they be the right documents but they must be in the right format too. That means a photo of a bank statement for example must show ALL FOUR CORNERS of the document! On top of that, out of the blue we were asked to send a picture of ourselves holding our photo ID close to our face for their records. This is not requested on the website but is now a requirement.

In this way the account verification process dragged out over TWO DAYS(!), as we went back and forth over document types and photos that didn’t meet requirements (NOTE – if you take a picture of yourself holding a drivers license in front of a mirror the wording on the license appears back to front. You’ll need to then flip the photo in an editor to fix the issue!)

Meeting Your Wagering Requirements

Casumo built its reputation on a sophisticated and immersive player experience with a fully gamified loyalty program. There are still level-ups, but there is no explicit correlation between your bets and your level-ups or any indication of what benefits each level brings.

We asked customer support about this and were told this information is not posted on the site anymore. We were also told that there are no guarantees of what rewards you get at each level. This is a disappointing downgrade in our opinion. One of the big thrills of playing at Casumo was seeing what you needed to do to progress to the next level and what you would get when you arrived. The loyalty program was built with many trophies and rewards along the way that made it truly compelling.

Nonetheless, Casumo still offers a lot of promotional benefits and the integration of these deal into your account means this is a site you will probably want to come back to regularly.

NOTE: Whilst it’s not clear what is required to level-up at each stage, we did find that we moved through the levels pretty quickly. Before we had completed our welcome offer we had moved to level 3 for example, picking up 20 Free Starburst Spins along the way.

Several times our documents were returned by the support team without an adequate explanation as to why they were not sufficient. Other questions about deposit and withdrawal limits were answered in a timely fashion, thought there was some confusion around the limits for the option of Interac. In some cases it felt a little like the agent was primed with scripts for regular questions, but if we asked an unusual one they might take some time to reply. They answer given to a question about wagering requirements was clear and well explained for example.

Email – Response to email at [email protected] was sporadic and we highly recommend that you use live chat instead to get the quickest answer. Most emails were returned within 3 hours at a maximum, though one regarding ID verification was left overnight.
